What is the JUST for Tomorrow Endowment Fund?
The JUST for Tomorrow Fund was established to provide a perpetual source of money for the continuation of the DuPage County jail’s ministry. It is designed to supplement, not replace, the annual giving to assist JUST of DuPage to one day be totally self sufficient.
What are the benefits of giving to the fund?
1) To acknowledge, in a tangible way, our gratitude for the many blessings God has given to us.
2) To provide in perpetuity, for those who come after us, a resource that will continue the jail ministry’s mission.
3) To share our abundance with others now and for generations to come.
4) To answer the call, as described beautifully in Matthew 25:40, “Inasmuch as you have cared for one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you have cared for me.”
How is the Fund managed?
JUST of DuPage has entered into partnership with the DuPage Community Foundation. As a publicly supported 501 (c)(3) organization, they receive tax-deductible contributions and bequests into a permanent endowment from individuals, corporations, organizations, and foundations wishing to make lasting contributions to the people of DuPage County. The earnings on these funds are then used, in accordance with donor wishes, for our grant making and community leadership activities.
What are the ways that I can give?
One of the principal advantages for donors giving to the JUST Tomorrow Endowment Fund is the flexibility we can offer donors to address a variety of tax effective ways to make gifts and achieve their charitable goals. The options to give include: Cash, Wills, Living Trusts, Life Insurance, Securities, Real Estate, Bequests, Gift Annuity.
