I have been a board member of JUST since 2017 and became Treasurer in 2020. My involvement with JUST came about due to my relationships with other board members and my desire to reach out and minister to people in my community that are in vulnerable situations (at bottom) and are ripe for the gospel. I have a particular interest in organizations that help people with drug and alcohol abuse, a common issue with many inmates.
I spent my career in Management Consulting which allowed me to develop strengths in problem solving, analytical, and communication skills. Much of my consulting work involved working with troubled and under-performing companies which required making tough, strategic decisions. I also have a strong accounting and finance background. Additionally, I have experience serving in leadership positions in other non-profit organizations. All of these experiences I pray enables me to assist in leading JUST in its mission.
