Justice - Understanding - Service - Teaching

JUST is a nonprofit organization working to meet the needs of inmates in the DuPage County Jail and their families. Our mission is to share God's love and provide a range of programs to incarcerated men and women in order to empower them to make positive changes in their lives. For more than 25 years, JUST has served inmates by providing programs such as addiction recovery, life-skills, training, and clergy services.

JUST utilizes more than 100 volunteers every year to support the inmates in the DuPage County Jail. There are many ways to contribute to JUST's work in and outside the DuPage County Jail. In order to volunteer inside the jail, you must be at least 21 years old, be subject to a background check, and attend a mandatory orientation. We ask that anyone interested in applying be ready to commit to at least one year of service, attending programs a minimum of two times a month. We rely on our volunteers to run the majority of the classes which are offered to the inmates. See below for more information regarding voluteering:

In-Kind Donations

We depend on both financial and in-kind donations to maintain and grow our services to Dupage County inmates and their families. Please donate any of the items on our wish list below. We also accept gift cards or items to be auctioned at one of our fundraising events.
